Allen M. Sumner Division Changes Name to Lincoln Squadron

On Saturday, September 13, 2003 at 2:30pm, the Crew of the Allen M. Sumner Division decommission their Sea Cadet unit of 17 years and Commissioned themselves as the LINCOLN SQUADRON of the United States Naval Sea Cadet Corps. This change reflects the unit's new goals and renewed commitment to provide quality maritime oriented training to the youth of Lincoln, Nebraska.
